Customising the dashboard
Change how the dashboard looks and which modules you see, and keep those choices across your devices.
What you can change
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Theme | The overall colour treatment of the dashboard |
| Theme packs | Additional themes, where the add-on is active on your account |
| Layout density | How much breathing room modules are given |
| Visible modules | Hide areas your role never uses so the navigation stays short |
| Motion | Reduce decorative animation, which also helps on lower-powered machines |
Preferences follow your account
Choices are stored against your account rather than the browser, so the dashboard looks the same on your laptop and your office machine.
If a change does not appear on another device, refresh that device - preferences load when the dashboard starts.
Personal, not shared
Customisation is per user. Changing your theme does not change a colleague’s, and hiding a module for yourself does not remove anyone else’s access to it.
Careful. Hiding a module is a display preference, not a permission. If someone should not have access to an area, control that through their account permissions rather than by hiding it.
If the dashboard feels slow
- Reduce motion - the largest single win on older hardware
- Hide modules you never open
- Close long-lived dashboard tabs; several open at once each hold live data
- See billing problems if a plan change has not taken effect
