Cancelling
How to stop your subscription, what happens to your data, and the things people forget.
Cancelling a subscription
- Open billing in your dashboard
- Cancel the subscriptionTake effect depends on your billing period - check what the portal tells you.
- Release any numbers you no longer wantNumbers are billed per number and are not released automatically.
- Revoke API keysIf you have integrations, revoke keys you no longer need. See API authentication.
- Save anything you needExport or note anything you want outside SIMCOAI.
The two things people miss
Careful. Phone numbers keep billing. Cancelling a subscription does not release numbers. Release them explicitly if you do not want them.
Calls stop reaching you. If your public number forwards to SIMCOAI, cancelling means those calls stop being answered. Point the number somewhere else first.

What happens to your workspace
Your workspace is retained for two years after cancellation so you can return without rebuilding, subject to applicable law and your data deletion rights.
| Want | Do this |
|---|---|
| To come back later | Nothing - your setup is waiting |
| Your data deleted sooner | Request deletion. See privacy policy and GDPR policy. |
| A copy of your data | Ask before you cancel - it is simpler while the account is active. |
